ABOUT THE CLIENT

The client is a Global Top 10 IT Company which operates across the entire world and serves the world with cutting edge information technology services.

SCOPE & CHALLENGES

The client approached us with a big challenge - to both provide the translation and data analysis for lots of IT related content. In addition to the translation aspect, AW was also given the task of analyzing the content and finding the relevancy of the content.
The languages covered in this Project were German, French, English and Spanish. The challenges were multiple in this Project. The major challenges were meeting the strict quality criteria required while also keeping the costs low. Also, SLA was carrying a substantial penalty if quality score was not met.
Another big challenge was to choose the right people to work on a project which was due to last for 1 year. The client made it very clear that they were looking for the cost saving of at least 50%.

For a project of this size the perfect integration of technology and industry expertise was essential. AW quickly created an expert team who were working under a seasoned project manager.
The translators and data analysts were selected on the basis of a strict and rigid selection process. The Team was trained on-site to understand every tiny detail of the project. The team then used Industry leading tools and technology which included software like SDL Trados and MemoQ.
The Team created a huge glossary of terms and managed a translation memory program which included almost one million words. The project included daily work deliveries and included real time checks from both the client side and our own quality team. AW adopted a unique quality process which was a mix of AW’s benchmark quality control program and the client’s own quality process.

ACCOMPLISHMENTS

AlongWords completed the Project within the strict SLA requirements and well within the budget. With this project we ensured a 50% cost saving to the client. As a result, the client has extended their contract for 2017 also.
